Sharini is a french perfume producer that creates 100% natural fragrances, avoiding synthetic ingredients altogether used in the majority of other fragrances today.  For a new organic perfume range, Sharini required packaging that continued its natural and ecological reputation, resulting in packaging that offered an “organic feel, yet luxury appeal”. The final range, inspired by nature, continued this reputation; creating an essence of originality through shape, and offering something unique and distinctive to the brand.

Thornton’s Legacy is a new range of luxury organic truffles. The truffles flavours are inspired by the history of chocolate, more significantly the traditions of previous mesoamerican civilisations known for their farming of chocolate.

For this range I wanted to imply organic through luxury graphical considerations, but with an original shape which could have significant appeal over other brands, specifically the Lindt Lindor truffle range. With this in mind I looked into expanding further Thorntons products into supermarkets.

POLO skincare was a university project. The reasoning behind it was to introduce a mens skincare range on a previously untapped, but a forthcoming market. In this case the male executive professional aged 45-55. With the demand of skincare products with 18-25 market increasing significantly, and with 50+ consumers feeling and looking younger than previous generations of the same age, targeting this audience proved beneficial.

The final result was a sophisticated, luxury travel pack suitable for business trips, to be sold in airport duty free areas.

Homebase Grow Your Own is a new range of products aimed at the novice gardener. The idea was to attract new markets to gardening without neglecting existing ones. With this in mind the new packaging makes growing your own fruit and vegetables in your garden, or on your patio, balcony or windowsill simple; suitable for those hardworking individuals or families that see gardening as a time consuming activity. 

To continue this simplicity packages come as packs, containing all things necessary to grow your own, with the design inspired by markets to give the impression of locally grown produce.

A new range of packaging for Doritos. This packaging was designed to be shared in pubs or at parties, while providing something different to the brand by maintaining its bold image with consumers. The target audience for this range was young adults and students.

Hazard signs show the bold flavours of Doritos, and creates an excellent on shelf appeal over other brands.

Nutella Squeezy was a 2nd year plastics based project for university. The basis for introducing a squeezy bottle for nutella was to make the product both simpler and also safer to use. This would make the product fun for children and easier for mums without the messy inconvenience; children can use the product themselves, avoid the use of a knife, and make breakfast an easier situation. No longer is a large glass jar necessary. This in turn could promote the use of the product at trips such as picnics and days out because of its lighter weight.
